Goals

  1. To provide respite for low-income women in the form of weekends away from home in a safe and welcoming environment. Programs include activities that promote health in body, mind, and spirit.
  2. To decrease isolation among women and provide opportunities to form supportive individual relationships and a sense of community among the group.
  3. To expose women to various methods of healthy self-care that they may employ with their families beyond the programs.
  4. To promote empowerment, strengthen self-esteem, and develop leadership skills among women by engaging them in the organization and operation of programs.
  5. To promote understanding and build bridges between diverse groups of women.
